Draw the structure. Watch AI interpret the scene.
Live AI Canvas turns a rough drawing into an evolving visual direction. Sketch with simple marks, optionally add text guidance and a style, then generate an AI-rendered image that follows the composition you established.
The working canvas requires a signed-in LayerAxon account.
Simple geometry establishes placement and silhouette.
The generated image adds material, lighting, and detail while using the drawing as its compositional foundation.
A faster loop between spatial intent and visual detail
Words are useful for mood and content. A sketch is useful for showing where things belong. Live AI Canvas combines both without forcing a rough drawing to pretend it is finished art.
Draw with direct control
Choose brush size, opacity, and color. Use pointer or touch input to block out the composition on a white canvas.
Correct the structure
Erase, undo, redo, or clear the drawing as the idea changes. The sketch remains an editable working surface.
Choose when AI responds
Generate manually, or enable automatic updates after completed strokes. In-flight requests are cancelled when a newer edit takes priority.
Compare iterations
Generation history keeps sketch-and-result pairs together so you can return to an earlier direction instead of losing it.
How to guide the result
Start with the information that is easiest to express visually, then add only the words the sketch cannot carry.
Composition
Use large, readable shapes for the subject, horizon, major objects, and empty space. Small decorative marks are less useful than clear silhouettes and relative scale.
Direction text
Turn it on when the image needs information the drawing cannot express: material, setting, time of day, or the identity of an ambiguous shape. Leave it off for neutral sketch rendering.
Style and mode
Choose a style preset and decide whether the interpretation should stay literal or allow more cinematic detail. Review one variable at a time when comparing results.
What Live AI Canvas does—and what it does not
Built for visual iteration
Use it to explore a composition, turn a rough drawing into a more realistic or stylized image, compare directions, and download flat PNG, JPG, or WebP results.
Not a layered-file workflow
Canvas output is a flat image. If you need independently editable visual layers assembled into a PSD or another layered format, use the Layered AI workflow.
Live AI Canvas questions
Is Live AI Canvas a layered PSD generator?
No. Live AI Canvas is a separate sketch-to-image workspace for flat visual output. Use Layered AI Studio when the required deliverable is an editable layered file.
Does AI render after every brush movement?
When automatic generation is enabled, LayerAxon waits until a stroke ends and then applies a short debounce before requesting the next interpretation. Manual generation is also available.
Can I draw without writing a prompt?
Yes. Direction text is optional. With it off, the canvas sends neutral sketch-rendering guidance; with it on, your text helps direct the interpretation.
Which image formats can I download?
The current Live AI Canvas download controls support PNG, JPG, and WebP output.
Put the composition on the canvas.
Draw first, then decide how much guidance AI needs.
